Type : Business

Passport: Original passport with a validity of more than six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
a) Copy of the first page of Passport
b) Attach all your old passports (if any)
Costa Rica visa application form : One visa application form to be duly filled and signed by the applicant.
Photo Specification: One recent camera clicked passport sized colored photographs on a white background with 80% face cover on a matt or semi-matt finished paper (35mm x 45mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
Covering-Letter: Original Covering Letter from the applicant on the company’s letter head stating his name, designation, purpose of the trip, duration of the trip & who will bear the expenses. The letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Honorary Consulate General of Costa Rica, New Delhi.
Invitation Letter: An Original invitation letter from Costa Rica, stating that the company will be responsible for the departure of the applicant before the visa expires.
a) Copy of the ID of the person signing the invitation letter
Financials:
a) Bank statement for last 6 months
b) Personal ITR for 3yrs
c) Salary Slip for the last 3 months
Proof of Occupation
Self Employed
a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation / Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership Deed
b) Brief Company Profile
c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)

Employed
a) Original Letter from the employing company.
Airline Reservation : Ticket Itinerary
Police Clearance Certificate
Please Note:
a) All documents must be presented in English or Spanish or come with an official translation in order to be processed by the Consular Section of the Embassy.
b) We will arrange for an appointment for the personal interview. This usually takes about a week. The applicant will have to go to the embassy once he/she receives a call from the embassy.
c) Travelers holding a valid visa for USA, UK,Canada,Japan,South Korea or any other European Union,which is valid for atleast three months then Costa Rican visa is not required.
